Our Work
We believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God. The Apostle Paul told Timothy that “All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.” (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
We believe that God’s word is perfect, lacking in nothing. The Bible does not need man’s additions or subtractions. God’s word is perfect all by itself. We believe that to get to Heaven, we must study, remember, teach, and practice the teachings that lie within the Bible. After all, God comes first and foremost in our lives.
Therefore, we teach the Bible in our Bible classes, we preach the Bible in our pulpit, and we strive to live by the Bible in our individual lives. Our collective work consists of evangelism, edification, and limited benevolence. The Apostle Peter said that God has “granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence.” (2 Peter 1:3) Therefore, our work begins and ends with the New Testament pattern that we read about in the Bible.
